⚖️ Mandatory Equipment

To ensure absolute accuracy across all entries, video submissions must display an approved scale:

• Catch Commander Digital Scale
• ForEverlast Digital Scale

Entries recorded on non-approved scales will be disqualified.

🎥 Video Submission & Verification Rules

Every fish in each division can be caught by bait or artificial. All catches are subject to video review and must strictly follow these recording procedures:

October & December Weight Categories (Flounder & Speckled Trout)

1. Clear Scale: Start recording showing your scale reading 0.00 lbs.
2. State Info: Clearly state your Angler Name and the Date.
3. Weigh Fish: Lift the fish completely clear of the water or vessel deck and clearly record the final display reading on the scale.
4. Live Release: Show the fish being safely released back into the water immediately after weighing.

November Most-Spots Category (Redfish)

1. Slot Verification: Record a clear measurement of your Redfish demonstrating it is within state legal slot limits.
2. Spot Count: Record continuous footage showing both sides of the fish while explicitly counting each spot aloud.
3. Live Release: Show the fish being safely released back into the water immediately after measuring.

📌 Determination of Winners

• Weight Divisions (Flounder & Speckled Trout): The winner is the angler who catches and submits the target weight first. If no angler lands the exact target weight, victory goes to the entry closest to the target weight.
• Spot Division (Redfish): The angler with the highest total count of distinct spots on a legal slot redfish wins. In the event of a tie in total spot count, the winner will be determined by who submitted their video entry first.
